Founding stone of Mahtta & Co., was laid down by Late Sh. Sham Sundar Mahtta in the year 1981. He was law university topper and was awarded Gold Medal from the vice-president of India. He was decorated Intellectual Property Attorney and was renowned for his wise and honest guidance to his clients.

Mr. Dhruv Mahtta

Adv. Dhruv Mahtta is a partner in MAHTTA & CO. (established in 1981). He is a 3rd (third) generation lawyer. He attained his Law degree in 2016 and started his career by handling hearings before Trademark Tribunals. He has represented clients in multiple hearings before trademark, copyright and industrial design tribunals. Currently, he is actively involved in IP litigation and facilitation of IP protection including Trademarks, copyrights, Patents and Industrial Designs for domestic and international clients. He is renowned for his honest guidance to his clients and has been successful in attaining various Interim and permanent Injunction orders for his clients. He is having active IPR litigation cases in the courts of Ludhiana, Delhi, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, Mohali and Chandigarh. He has also conducted various criminal raids on the basis of copyright infringement on behalf of his clients.

He is involved in facilitation of IP protection for domestic and international clients. He heads prosecution team for Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Copyrights at all Indian IP tribunals and offices.
